2035 is the debut album of the fictitious band Anecdoche, centered on documenting and preserving the memory of a lived-in space. The project is rooted in observations of my own house, using familiar rooms, objects, and small details as visual anchors for the album’s world.
The goal was to create a visual identity that feels personal without being overly literal, translating everyday environments into a cohesive album aesthetic. The artwork explores anticipatory nostalgia and how memory attaches to space, capturing quiet, in-between moments that feel insignificant in real time but become meaningful in retrospect.
custom mockupsFinding quality gatefold mockup templates that matched the tone of the album was proving to be a challenge, so I shifted directions and created my own. By shooting original photos and leveraging my Photoshop skills to build custom mockups, I was able to place the album design in a more realistic, lived-in context that better reflected the project’s concept and atmosphere.
